Jim and Vita Rhodes announce that PRESERVATION DESIGN no longer provides architectural design services.  James W. Rhodes, FAIA is now retired from professional practice. 


Good wishes and appreciation to all who have contributed to and received benefit from a lifetime of devotion to architectural design and conservation.  Though aberrations and assaults continue--much intentional but mostly out of ignorance and neglect--the last 50 years have fostered a world-wide consciousness of the essential value of conservation of natural and man-made resources. And as this stubborn herd of bison demonstrates--the journey continues.


The following sections contain a summary of projects, recent photos and observations.
